When This Warning Applies
California Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. This warning may apply to certain products containing:
- Herbal extracts that may contain trace amounts of lead or other heavy metals naturally present in soil
- Products containing cadmium, arsenic, or mercury (even in trace amounts)
- Certain botanicals on the Prop 65 list
